I pulled mine because the difference between our local school and GW was the amount of homework. With snack time and dinner time interrupting homework time, it took about three hours a night. No second grader should have hours worth of homework.

One thing parents should expect is that it really is intensive with the workload. My nephew was consistently testing above grade level at his private but he had a lot of trouble initially at GW.

Thank you!

One downfall is that they lost their counselor position last year with cuts so there is not one designated adult who is trained in this area. I hope they get a counselor back next year.

Thank you so much!

Thank you very much, the reason I ask is that our ex-neighbor's son used to attend the TAG program there, but he's constantly being picked on by the local non-TAG kids at GW. So, despite the fact that the family was very happy with the academic progress, they moved. I hope that's not the case anymore since GW is a total TAG school now.

I got this off the MSDE website for GWES:

After GW has become a TAG School instead of a TAG center? How diverse is the school?

Thanks
