I would be more concerned about how they got along with people. If they only stayed a short time, there is an indication that the neighbors are a horror show. If they fought with people, definitely hear both sides of the story - as there are usually three sides

Google the previous owners' names. We are buying a house held in an estate. We googled the owners names and found out one of them had died peacefully at home. Sad, but it's ok. We all have to die somewhere. I'd rather it was peacefully at home than in a car crash, etc.

I asked our realtor. There are certain things that have to be disclosed like if someone was murdered in there, murder-suicides, etc. This was not an estate being settled but I just wanted to make sure there was nothing weird. After knowing someone being murdered in the garage of the family home, I had to at least ask the question.

Google, ask the neighbors.

I was thinking this same thing a few weeks ago when I saw a house in Lyon Village come up for sale. I remember a girl was found dead in the backyard pool. She was just a girl who was out in Clarendon, and ended up dead there. I Googled it, and nothing with the address came up.
The house went under contract pretty fast, and I was wondering if the buyers knew about the still I solved death. From the pictures it looked like the pool had been filled in.

Most old houses likely have, right? Not everyone dies in hospitals.

Talk to the neighbors.

Google? Anything really scandalous will probaby have a newspaper article attached to it. But run of the mill death? Probably no way to know unless you go polling neighbors, but that's odd.

Like if someone died there?
