I think it's hideous. There's a cute little $850,000 house in there somewhere, but the additions are horrible and the interior is dated and ugly.

Not so nice, you can do better.

Pretty sure I checked out this house when it was for sale in 2007. If so, it stood out for having very little common area and large bedrooms--an odd combination among houses that vintage. Otherwise, a nice house, about right for the price.

Haha builder scam of the century , they use modular and cost more than other stick built. They are really raping people but no one sees it. They try to do nice finishings to hide the standard haven home modulars.

That's a lovely house, OP!

We live nearby and honestly, it will probably go for about that much (1.5).
The advantages are that you get that much space in a really premium location for your money.
The disadvantages are that the outside of the house is not harmonious at all (small house that has been added on to ad nauseam), even though it looks reasonably well-maintained. This is not a tear-down!

We don't have the money. But-I like this house. If we could afford it I'd buy it.
DH says its too small and old for the money. If he had this money he'd do further out and newer construction.
How cute to be in walking distance I Bethesda Row etc.
anyone think this is too much money for the lot size and house size?
