Pretty sad considering the numbers that give out sports-based scholarships...
Priorities!

Really? Name a DC-area private school that gives sports scholarships. I don't know of any.

Hehe, that's because they don't advertise it. I don't want to out my school.

NCS and St A give a tuition credit to members of the Cathedral Girl & Boy Choirs. I looked it up last year for NCS, the credit is $7k for the junior choristers (~grades 7 -9) and $9k for the senior choristers (~grade 10 to 12). The time commitment is significant -- daily rehearsals (weekdays) and 2 to 3 services a week, including one on every Sunday at the Cathedral (one week the morning service, next week evensong, boy & girl choirs switch off).

Gonzaga and Visitation for high school. Visitation offers a very limited number of Visitation Scholars awards, about $5K a year; Gonzaga offers Presidential scholarships worth about $2K a year.
