Agree. Throw in some red accent pillows. My living room has a great mix of warm and cool.

One of the downsides of having an open-concept house is the rooms all run into each other. For us, the kitchen is right off the Family Room. You can see 100% of the kitchen from the family room, and vice versa.

So what the heck to do I do when I want a blue and white family room (see pic), but my kitchen is very warm in color. The cabinets are almond. The island is a red cherry. The granite has red, brown, tan and cream in it. 100% warm colors.

So, do i need to make the family room warm as well?
