Heh. The one you've never heard of is Wildfire in Tyson's II, and is also a chain.

You really have no preference for Va. side or Md. side? It's not that easy to just cross from one to the other.

In Va., +1 for Auberge Chez Francois. In Md., +1 for Old Angler's Inn. Backup choice, a little farther away, Irish Inn at Glen Echo.

Old Anglers Inn in Potomac or Irish Inn in Glen Echo. Both have a lot of charm and character.

Mediterenee in Great Falls on Colvin Run Rd is pretty good. It's a small place, but I've seen groups of 10 or so there.

I'm organizing a lunch/brunch on a weekend and need a recommendation for a restaurant in either Great Falls or somewhere close by- say McLean, Potomac, Vienna. Bethesda is also a possibility. It's a small group of ladies and I was initially hoping for something like a tea house but am not sure if anything like that exists over there? Not familiar with any of the locations besides Bethesda. Thanks in advance for any recommendations!
