So you knew this before you married him? Did you then have kids with him?!?! Why?

12:11 I am a public servant in a local municipality. I love my job and if I told you what it was, you would understand why I can't really switch fields without extensive retraining. I can't go back to school if I am constantly filling in the gaps in Child Support.

My happy mother's day present from ExH was an email 10 minutes ago saying that 5/17 will be his last day at work. What a lucky girl I am!

With a job history like that, I'd be worried, too. Hang in their OP. Shore up reserves.

Why don't you just worry about it when it's actually a problem. I.E. when or if he ACTUALLY loses his job.

In the 20 years I have known him, he has had at least 10 jobs. He has had at least 4 since we divorced. We have mutual friends. Well, he's friends with the husbands and I am friends with the wives. He allegedly told several guys on multiple occasions that his sales are down and he will almost certainly be let go. The wives called or texted me because they know that I never hear anything from him unless I ask outright. During his last unemployment, he fell a month behind and only paid the arrears after I said he'd lose his license. I don't even know if that's true, but he believed me. I just want to confront him, but I can't without compromising my sources. Errgh, so frustrating!
