I hadn't opened the bag, but if I had, I would have known not to take it. The name on the bottle was not mine, and the pill shape/size was completely different.
These kind of mistakes worry me though. I think about someone who's eyesight isn't very good and if the pill is similar they might be taking heart medicine for a liver condition.

I am allergic to penicillin and if I were given the wrong ABX, the consequences, as you pointed out, could be serious.
Rxs are supposed to be filled by 1 staff member and then checked by another to ensure correct medicine, dosage, amount, etc. CVS blew it.
