I wear a womens 5-5.5 wide, and most womens shoes start at 6. My current gym shoes are a little boy's size 4, bc they fit and they are cut wider But I would like to avoid choosing between spongebob and Dora on my cycle shoes, you know? And since I'm just a casual spinner, I really, really don't want to spend more than about $100.

any recs would be appreciated.

If you *have* to buy brick & mortar I'd try Revolution on Rockville Pike which is just south of Wintergreen Plaza.

I bought mine at performance bikes on rockville pike. They have lots of sizes, but if you know what size you are, you might be better off ordering from zappos. Mine were just around $100, and they are awesome. I wore regular sneakers for 6 months before I bought them and now I could never go back.
