Thanks. I've been checking them for months now but ALL of their listings say no pets.
Three true bedrooms on the Hill that allows pets! That is kind of a tall order. It used to be that there were homes like this for rent, but many have been bought, renovated, and sold to permanent owners. The neighborhood is so much less transient than it once was. Is it a school issue or could you try Rosedale, down by Stadium-Armory, Old City, under the highway in SE, or across H Street to the north?
Thanks, PP. Yeah...I am starting to realize it is a very tall order. I'm, admittedly, not super familiar with the other neighborhoods you mentioned, but I prefer the more "established" areas of the Hill for safety reasons. I like the Eastern Market/Stanton Park areas as they seem to come with a bit less crime than above H St, for example. This could be totally in my head and I understand, of course, that there is crime anywhere in a city. But please enlighten me if I'm wrong! Would you say those neighborhoods are similar to the Hill as far as crime? Thanks.

Anonymous wrote:Could it be the 3br requirement? We rented a house on the Hill before we bought and it was huge, but only 2 proper bedrooms (plus a small "trunk room" that we used as an office.) It had a separate basement apartment too. We looked a lot on the HIll at the time and most of what we saw was 2BR.

No. You'll expand your search and live somewhere else in the city.
