There are local programs in addition to SACC that people use at private schools or places like karate centers or they get a babysitter. search under SACC and you'll see a lot of discussions on this topic. Fairfax County tends to switch their school boundaries every so often, so don't think your school will always have the same boundaries.

FCPS has a dashboard that will give you the most current enrollment information. Just Google FCPS and dahs oars and I'm sure you'll find it.

Contemplating a move from DC to either Falls Church or McLean for elementary school and beyond. But have read several posters comment on serious overcrowding problems. Can anyone provide names of schools in either of these areas that have such overcrowding?
Also, how does aftercare work? What do working families do if it is not guaranteed? Mom of 4 year old here, so the process is all new to me! TIA!
