Milo's (Cosmo) - great value, 3 course lunch menu for $20.13. Excellent fresh fish. Little disappointing that many items have an upcharge.

Gordon Ramsay Steak (Paris) - didn't think it could live up to the hype but it was fantastic. Very lively and loud restaurant but had great energy. Not a cheap meal by any means but my prime rib cap was quite possibly the best piece of meat I have ever had. Also, the sticky toffee pudding desert was excellent. Highly recommend.

Border Grill (Mandalay) - awesome tapas style all you can eat brunch on weekends for $29.99 plus $5 for bottomless mimosas. Highly recommended.

Comme Ca (Cosmo) - only had a couple drink and a few apps before a show, great deal at happy hour. Very nice hand crafted cocktails.

American Fish (Aria) - stopped in late after a show and ordered a few small plates and an appetizer, very fresh fish. Great service at bar.

Secret Pizza (Cosmo) - down an unmarked hallway, they should keep it a secret, not worth the late night calories.

Holsteins (Cosmo) - wanted to try Burger Bar at Mandalay but if was getting late and we were starving. Really good burger (Nom Nom burger), pretty nice beer list.

Bartolotta (Wynn) - ate that bar here after a show at the Wynn, great service, and very good fish. we had an octopus appetizer that was excellent, a pasta (can't recall name and menu on line is not the same) and the orata salmoriglio. Probably the best meal we had although not cheap either, the fish alone was $105.

Wicked Spoon (Cosmo) - we had 2 free vouchers for buffet breakfast and am I glad I didn't pay for it. lots of variety but I'm just not a buffet person. skip it unless it is free.

Mandarin Bar - stopped in early evening to get a view of the strip as the lights came on and to get a drink. Drinks and view were fine but we had a better view from the Cosmo 47th floor. The unfinished Harmon hotel blocks your view.

Chandelier Bar - only stopped here one evening before a show and great hand crafted cocktails. Told him to make me something with vodka and mixed up a couple items and it was fantastic.

Fancy/expensive and on the strip? Or casual and family friendly? Are you willing to go off the strip?

Former local, if you give more specifics I can give you my list of favorites.
