Subject: How do you evaluate a job offer?
#1 Money
If the money isn't more, why did you even apply.
#2 Potential challenge and growth opportunities
#3 Around DC, what is the commute like? tele-commuting available?
#4 Benefits, work/life balance, etc

My criteria, in order of importance:
- Potential future / compatibility of organizational mission/area of focus
- Office culture (that one is hard to get a good feel for in advance - I've had my initial impressions be spot on sometimes and way off other times)
- Money/benefits
- Flexibility
How did this offer come to you? Were you actively looking for new work or did it just fall into your lap?

Rec'd a job offer yesterday and trying to evaluate.
What factors are the most impt when you are evaluating?
Currently employed but offer slightly better in several areas.
I think I'd be happy there but naturally I'm second guessing myself.
