14:09 here. Never would have thought to buy Simple Human-specific trash bags as regular cheapo Target trash bags fit in there... and I've never had any issues with slipping. There's a hole in the bag to stuff excess bag into so it's nice and tight.

OMG, yes! Keeps out kids and dogs, seals in odors, it's easier to change the bag, easier to clean since the can liner comes out, shall I go on?

My sister has one and I hate it. It smells really bad and is hard to clean. We just use a regular one.

Oh lord, yes! It changed my kitchen life. DH was totally against it and ended up loving it.

Mine has really held up well after 5 years- it's the demilune style and I use regular Glad bags in it- it's got a spot in the back to hold the extra bat top in place- never had any slips and we're rough in my house.

I like mine, and use regular Hefty/Glad/etc. kitchen trash bags. Works fine.

I have the round one and can't tell you how much I hate trying to get the trash bags in it properly. It also doesn't hold nearly as much as my old trashcan.

OP, I bought mine at Bed Bath and Beyond with a coupon; I also get the bags there and use a coupon.

Hmm, never thought about our trash can... but it is Simple Human (wedding shower gift) and we've had it for seven years and no issues.

We have Target's cheaper alternative--I mean, it is Simple Human brand but for Target. It looks nice but is definitely made of cheaper materials. We've had it for three years and it still looks/works fine.

I bought one after I caught my toddler throwing away my car keys. Simple Human butterfly-lid can prevented my toddler from throwing away anything else! It also worked for toddler #2. Worth every penny after we calculated replacing our missing silverware. God, I am glad they're older now!

Costco sells a good alternative

I had a cheaper one before I got mine and there is a difference. I really like mine.

I am looking for a semi round, stainless trash can. I Like the simple human ones but it is a lot of money for a kitchen trashcan.
