Mon Ami Gabi or Redwood in Bethesda. Nice patios and food. Mon Ami Gabi is less expensive and has great wine/champagne selection.

Try Bethesda Magazine or Washingtonian Best Of section. Lots of great suggestions there.

Unless you drive into DC you're stuck with Besthesda or Rockville, really.
