This. I don't need to wear fancy clothes to playgroup, and I aso don't need to change into ratty clothes when I'm home.
Not OP, but I change into an outfit when I go to playgroup or similar and then change into "ratty" clothes when I get home. I did this when I worked, too (business attire when I went to work and then changed into comfier/more casual clothes when I got home).
