No, I still get on the snack rotation to bring oranges, drinks, snacks. I agree that families should just bring stuff for their own kids. I'm all for team sports and bonding, etc, but the snack thing is out of control.
No, it's not out of control.
I'm a coach. If I didn't know that a parent was signed up to bring snacks for all (and then some), I would, frankly, feel it necessary to do it myself. Which I would, but I also have other logistics to worry about on game day. Also, you may not realize this, but I have already laid out a fair amount of my own family's money for this team already.
Team is communal. Be a part of the team.
