Are you my ex sister-in-law, OP? I remember how your two year old brunette suddenly became blonde one summer with Sun In.

Yes, my SIL sprayed Sun In on her toddler girl to get her to look blond like mom.

MY MIL thought it was just a GREAT idea, too!

My ex SIL is an idiot.

Wow... just wow.. I am amazed. Parents like you create little girls with massive self esteem issues. I hope dad's a little more rational... and loving.

I really hope OP isn't serious.

My kids and I tend to get blonder in the summer - naturally. Last summer DS (who was 4 at the time) seriously looked like he had highlights. hope nobody thought that was intentional!

Your baby is who she is, OP. Don't start forcing body image issues on her now.

I feel sorry for your daughter, OP. She will have a long life ahead of her with a mom who was unhappy with her right from the beginning. If you say you love your daughter the way she is, let her be the way she is.

Uh, wow. I think you need to remember that your little one is her own person and brown versus blonde hair is one of the least of the ways she's going to defy your expectations.

You're right OP, it is sad. You are pathetic. Grow up.

Good one OP!

Actually my MIL did this to my DH when he was a kid, not sure how old.

First of all, I'm sure it's safe to do.. however, why would you want to do that? I really think it's a little early in life to teach your child that her physical appearance needs to be enhanced..

If you do, remember that you have to take her to a spray tan place. Tanning beds aren't allowed for little ones to get that glow.

Really hoping this is a belated April Fools!

You're a few days late for April Fool's Day.

Are you for real? What would be the point of doing that? To attract a hot 20 month old boyfriend? Get a baby modeling contract? Look like she just stepped off the beach at Malibu?

Hair is light-medium brown and baby will be around one year. Is it safe to put some lemon juice in her hair before going out to play and see if it does anything?
