While the romper and overalls ARE CRAZY, I mean, how do you take that off quickly to go pee? (Which you go pee like a million times a day when pregnant) I like all their tops and dresses. And the trench coat-looking thing, which appears to be sold out. I am the pp who originally posted about Hatch, BTW. I guess some people don't like the loose flowy look, which I think is the most flattering during pregnancy. I personally don't like when pregnant people wear clothes where their spare tire is hanging out because their pants are too small and shirt is too tight. JMHO.

I've only seen the hatch dresses on gilt and I swear those are cute! I got some cute stuff off gilt in general. Jeans are so hard. None of them are cute and I've tried them all. It may be because I'm just huge.

I am going to have to admit that for my first, I stuck to gap maternity because it was basically that or MiMi or Pea in the Pod or whatever MAYBE something cute at Japanese Weekend, and none of that appealed. This time around (quite a few years between pregnancies) and I'm psyched at the selection.

I wouldn't call myself a fashionista but I do like to dress nicely. I checked out Hatch and it looks like drapey rags. You could go buy XXXL regular clothes and it would look the same. These clothes aren't even flattering on the models who just have a fake belly strapped on -- there's no way they would look good on a real pregnant woman.

The new Silver Spring H&M carries maternity. I like the leggings I got there, hate the jeans. The belly panel is made from a stretch cotton fabric and does not stay up, even now with a pretty substantial belly at 27 weeks. I am constantly tugging them up, and even ripped a hole in the panel doing so one day as my pants were sliding down my bum. Not good.

I bought from their maternity line - some leggings and a few shirts. I really liked the leggings because you could fold down the panel and it still was smooth underneath tops (I'm only 17 weeks right now). I'm not normally a leggings kind of girl, but I wanted something to wear under some knit dresses I still fit in until it gets warmer. I can't bring myself to wear tights.
It's definitely not the nicest shopping experience; all the maternity stuff is sort of shoved randomly in a corner by the elevator, mixed in with some 3x-sized clothes. Also, the Georgetown store doesn't carry any of the maternity stuff, only the store on F St.

I just bought a few things at H+M this afternoon and was suprised by how well things fit. Most of it's fairly casual and I'm not expecting it to last very long, but I was impressed with the the cuts of the clothes.

I couldn't afford their clothing but would try to style my pregnancy wardrobe similar to pics I saw on their site.
