I think it's very personal. I think it's very possible to see a BFP 9dp3dt; I got one 6dp5dt which is actually a day earlier than you're testing. For me, I prefer to test (feels like I'm doing something at least), and the early BFNs aren't devastating (I know a lot about that after 2 IUIs, 4 IVFs, and 1 BFP that ended in m/c and 1 chemical). But some people really don't like testing pre-beta.
All that said, I have seen a couple posts on this forum where people did not get a BFP until their beta (despite several negative HPTs). So a BFN tomorrow doesn't necessarily mean you're out of the game. It all depends on whether you htink you'll be more or less anxious if you get a negative tomorrow.
