Oh OP - my heart goes out to you. This sounds really hard and I don't have any advice but I just want to say that I am sorry you are going through this and you can do this! I am dealing with nausea now and I can onky imagine how hard it must be with your recovery. Go easy on yourself smd tslk with your doctor. A nutritionist and support network seem to be the right path too. Good luck!

I don't have any advice, but I wanted to offer support. I am in the throws of terrible 1st trimester nausea. On top of feeling like crap, it is so emotionally draining. Hang in there. Talk to your OB. Be kind to yourself.

I found really strong ginger beer helpful. World Market has a variety.

Have you tried a support group?
Also, maybe you can buy some literature from the ABA (12-step group). Maybe they have a nice daily meditation book.
Also, I think therapy might be helpful with someone certified in CBT who specializes in eating disorders.
Hugs OP

what about bland meat? like plain grilled chicken? then you'd get some protein.
a dietician is a good idea. But i would also suggest a therapist, so you have someone to talk it through.

The only thing I could eat when I had morning sickness were Cheetos. Not the healthiest food, but I could keep 'em down!

Do hang in there with the nausea, it's so tough at this stage. Things that helped me: crackers (all day, every day, also substituted with pretzels, goldfish, potato chips); ginger ale; Coke; really just eating whatever appealed to me at the moment.
I do think it's worth talking to your OB about your anorexia, if you've not already, so you can get some guidance. You know first-hand what a struggle it is, and you don't need to manage it on your own--particularly through pregnancy, during which many women feel particularly vulnerable. Take good care.

(The nausea stage usually doesn't last long. So hang in there.)

I know a woman who was anorexic when she got pregnant and she was sent to a high-risk OB. Definitely seek specialist advice - high-risk OB and/or nutritionist. Please. My acquaintance now has a healthy happy toddler and I am sad to say is as horrifyingly thin as ever. You can do this.

i dont know where else to go with this. please dont judge i am trying my hardest.
i am a recovering anorexic. lately i have been having trouble eating. between the nausea and the anorexia, i find it very hard. i have only been eating dinner but i am trying and i am eating a nice big bowl of mini wheats. i know most of you dont know the aspects of an eating disorder and all that it entails but i could really use some advice and support. what foods have helped you with nausea? if anyone has been in my position i would love to hear what helped you through. i am thinking about going to see a dietician. anybody with encouragement is appriciated. thank you and please dont judge. im having enough trouble as it is and i really dont want to hear negative comments.
