I'm sicking of working too. Everyone hated working at my last job and it's the same thing at my new job. Where are the fun jobs with the happy people???

What I really want is a large inheritance from a distant relative I never knew I had. Then we can both quit our current jobs and find fun part-time jobs. We would get to spend a lot more time together as a family. I would love to spend 10 hours a week as a florist or library assistant.

Sometimes I think this too, but mostly I think that there's a mix. Some are happy, some aren't. It's trite but happiness comes from inside ( self esteem, optimism etc) and is very connected to positive relationships. So if the rich wife is happy in her skin and has good relationships she'd probably be happy with or without her rich husband and vice versatile.
