Agree with PP that you need to work on getting dog not to pee in house, or that dog gets confined to basement/laundry room/etc.

I would not let my dog pee all over the room where my family and I eat.

Get your dog a belly band to wear when he is loose and you are at home. Keep him confined when you are out.

Get a washable, indoor/outdoor rug. I have a braided one I got from L.L. Bean for a tiled room my dogs frequently muddy up when coming in from outside.

What I would do in your situation is to work on getting the dog to stop peeing in the house. I wouldn't bother getting a new rug until that was accomplished.

Buy an indoor/outdoor rug. You can take these outside and hose them off. They will have a lot of cute ones now that the patio furniture is coming in stock. Check out Target, Ikea, World Market.

Buy two, if you can get a good price.

Ikea, Overstock and Bakersfield have inexpensive rugs. Try putting a plastic barrier under it.

Great, thanks for the recommendations! I've used so much Nature's Miracle, I should buy stock in it, but he still continues to pee in the same places.

No matter what we do, our dog pees all over the dining room. We have an area rug in there and I would like to replace it with something fairly nice, but easy to clean. At this rate, we may need to replace the rug yearly. Any recommendations? Thanks in advance!
