The solution is to only open a thread if the subject indicates that it is worth your time.

Easy, stop looking and responding to threads with subject lines that don't give you any idea of the topic. The posters who do this will wonder why their posts get so few hits and someone who will read and respond will tell them that they did it to themselves.

Encourage evolution...make these posters either learn to use good subject lines or die out!
