I'll give OP the benefit of the doubt and assume it's too hot for most people's comfort. If so, the result? Fewer people (including employees, presumably) are adequately washing their hands. Yuck.

Interestingly, I was at the one at Potomac mills this weekend and the water was really hot there too. There is no adjustment, it's automatic.

WTH is up with the cheesecake factory. Last year, we went there and noticed the faucet water was way too hot for my toddler to wash his hands. It was a little on the hot side for me too. I told the manager about my experience. A year later, same thing. the water is still too hot! WTF?
