When dd you guys go off? Is 10 weeks actually early, as a PP said? FWIW, my RE prescribed them, but called them "voodoo."

I went off at 10 weeks. My RE actually said I could stop at my last ultrasound with him at 8 weeks 4 days. He said that by then the placenta has already taken over.

I went off at 10 weeks. No negative effects. For me, the only effect was that the bloating got a lot better.

Do you see Dr. G?

No, I was with Columbia Fertility. Did Dr. G say something similar?

I didn't notice any big changes. I had a lot of constipation earlier but that had calmed down some by then I think. Very glad to be done with the messy suppositories.

10 weeks seems a little early. I did 12 weeks.

I was doing vag. suppositories - so when I went off, it was absolute heaven! No more messy undies! I even went off a day early (the discharge really sucked and I was completely over it). I am still preggo! Congrats, by the way!

waiting to go off mine...but like you, it's worrying. Good luck, and congrats of getting to this point!

(I wonder if you can do a gradual reduction to ease your mind?)

My appetite somewhat regulated. I had been starving in progesterone but then when I'd eat, I would feel pretty sick, and that queasy feeling went away. Hard to know for sure if it was the prog or just finishing up first tri, as I tapered down to gradually get off it from 10-12 wks. Congrats

Are bloating and dizziness side effects of progesterone? Maybe it's just early pregnancy...

I had no downsides but I also didn't have side effects from progesterone. Congrats!

Had ivf and have been on progesterone three times a day since egg retrieval. I'm nervous about what happens now. Can anyone tell me what to expect? Would be great to hear that I'll be less bloated, less tired, less dizzy....but please let me know if you had downsides, too. Thanks, ladies.
