Flourless desserts from the latest issue of Food Network magazine. Flourless chocolate cake is such a winner and very simple.

My mom makes a matzah lasagne..sounds awful put it really isn't if the kids are red sauce/cheese fans. It is a big draw for our kids. We also have a jell-o mold..very 1960's but good for passover and the kids like it. Meringue cookies are good as are chocolate tofee matzah..google for the recipe.

We also have chicken and matzah kuegel veggies or salad..not much kid interest there..

Excluding the seder plate, I'm doing matzo ball soup, charoset and matzo, grilled boneless leg of lamb, roasted potatoes with lots of rosemary and thyme, green beans or asparagus, and a flourless chocolate cake or chocolate mousse for dessert. If our extended families didn't all have sensitive bellies, I'd make a matzo coogle with lots of sauteed onions and mushrooms.

My kids love potato kugel. I also make matzoh crunch (dairy free). Honestly, though, they eat matzoh ball soup and charotset for the seder, that's all they have the patience for, then play the rest of the meal. During the week is when they eat the rest.

Ideas? We are hosting a kid-oriented Passover seder and I am looking for menu ideas.

Will have matzo ball soup, charoset, matzo, hard boiled eggs, and was thinking salmon or roast chicken. And probably a vegetable side. Dessert.

Other ideas? What would your kids enjoy?
