If I moved it, it would have been moved to a forum in which there was an existing thread. A better alternative would have been finding the original thread, posting a message in the second thread asking users to discuss the issue in the original thread and including a link, and then locking the second thread. But, I was in a big hurry and didn't have time for that. [b]I wanted to stop the second thread before a bazillion people posted to it.[b]
Why?

Decency, kindness, self-respect? These are things that apply to all parents and all kids. No way that thread or my concerns are specific to older kids. I wouldn't have known about the other thread because I never go to older kids forum because I've only got little ones. If anything that other thread should have been moved to general parenting. This is absolutely not something specific to older kids. Maybe only an older kid rapes but younger kids obviously grow up to commit rape and younger girls and boys grow up to get raped. Prevention starts young. Surprised at your doing this.
The "older kids" forum is for kids of elementary school age and older. Are you teaching 3 and 4 year olds not to rape?

Piece of advice, op: Lecturing Jeff isn't going help your case. Your tone is far too strident.
I'm not trying to persuade Jeff to reinstate my post. It's his sandbox, but that doesn't mean I'll pretend I agree. What's your point anyway?
My point is that you sound very strident and disagreeable. That's generally not a good way to be and not a good way to get what you want. Just a little advice.
And you sound like a patronizing jagoff. There's just a little advice right back off.
