EDM was sold to many schools 10 years ago . It has been phased out or remediated with other curriculums beginning about 5 years ago . Schools use Singapore math and others( blending them) The math teaching theories of Catherine Fosnot of Columbia University are hot right now. Google her it will give you a good idea of what is being parroted all over town.
