Personally I would trust willmaker over legal zoom (one thing to consider is whether you think you will do a better job using a computer template for your circumstances or you trust someone on the other end of the phone to do a better job).

I would get nolo will maker-- a book that comes with software. The book is very good at explaining estate tax issues so even if you plan to use a lawyer I think it's probably worth the $30 so you understand the issues in advance, plus I think the software will do an acceptable will for plain vanilla situations.

Hello. Can anyone recommend a good website or other resource that would have sample templates for a will? We're just getting started in the process of writing a will. We're just trying to do some research now on what all to cover, so we're not ready to dive in with a lawyer yet. Any recommendations? Thank you.
