I think my addiction to DCUM is being cured by today's outage, so I think I should thank Jeff! after 2 hours I give up. I can't get the main Forum page to load or the DC schools forum. I either time out or more often, get a DCUM branded page that starts with something like "we're sorry but it appears the page you've requested does not exist" this simply after clicking the Forum header in the top menu bar. So frustrated.

Things have started to speed up for me. What happens when you try to open the Private Schools forum that prevents you from getting to it?

I've just moved everything to two new servers today. Previously, the server had been suffering very heavy loads which slowed everything down. The server was regularly running at 100% capacity.

Today, I moved to a semi-clustered architecture. Unfortunately, not everything went as planned and I've had a few problems. The two servers are now handling the low fine. However, there is a lot of traffic being generated that is slowing down the networking. Even between machines on my network (everything is in a data center) there is a lot of traffic. I'm trying to track that down now, but I suspect a misbehaving program of some sort is the cause.

I have been having a terrible time getting DCUM pages to load quickly the past two weeks or so. Other web pages are not a problem. I'm waiting a ridiculously long time on the forums I visit at all times of the day. Just to post this took a minute or so. Anyone else or any explanation? I am on a Mac, fwiw.
