Just beware that Barilla is one of the faux products. It only has 51% whole grain wheat. While some of the remainder is legume powders and such, it still has a lot of regular flour that adds empty carbs to the diet and doesn't have as much fiber or as much protein. It's okay as a halfway if you have an issue with real whole grain pasta (for some the texture is a problem), but it's not the healthiest. Regular 100% whole grain pasta is healthier. In general, there many good options out there. Whole grain spelt pasta is highest in protein and fiber. Quinoa pasta is high in protein and iron and has a low glycemic index for better digestion (you'll stay feeling full longer so tends to help cut down on snacking). These or regular 100% whole wheat pasta are generally amongst the healthiest alternatives.
