adding to possible confusion like 13:36 points out some are dated with year and others arn't... I realize that the date the thread was created is there...but when I am reading threads, I almost never notice them.

I agree. If we can't do stickies in the Expectant Moms forum, that would be really nice. As it stands now, I see a potential problem with duplication (e.g. the October thread falls off the first page and someone else creates a new one because they don't realize it already exists). They could even become ongoing support/playgroups after the babies are all born.

I don't know if we need a "sticky," or not, but I really should have named my "greetings pregnant ladies" a bit differently. Any chance you can rename it to "October Due Dates: Please Join us!" so that when it keeps popping up, it will be more obvious that it's an October Due Dates thread and not some Martian Pregnant Woman greeting her fellow kind?

Okay, I made that change.

If by "subforum" you mean a forum within a forum, our software doesn't allow that.

What about a subforum sticky on the expectant moms thread? Just a due date thread subforum sticky do others can start threads there within the expectant moms forum.

Just a thought!

That could turn out to be a lot of stickies. Why don't we start out without making them stickies and see how things go.

Could we make them sticky at the top of the Expectant mom's forum, so people can easily find them?

Users are welcome to start due date threads. I'm not sure I want to be starting them, but I am very willing to let users take the lead in establishing them. Just let me know how I can help.

Here's a thread with a cogent argument. It goes something like this: those other mass-subscribed birth boards are full of silly people and we want our own.
