Isn't Lafayette wildly overcapacity, even if 10 preK kids peel off to Blessed Sacrament? Yes?

seems to me that if they have kids spilling out the windows, generally, throughout the building/grades, then opening the doors at K to additional kids isn't such a smart idea.

Out of curiousity, how does Lafayette have five out of bounds slots? Do they know that there willl have spots available after the in bound children enroll?

You just type in the number of each applicant ahead of you in the applicant number box.

OP here: thanks for the feedback. We do indeed have a plan B and expect to use it. I just got carried away when I saw the 3. I'm glad I posted, though, because I am an idiot and never thought to examine the choices of those ahead of me. Thanks for that!

You have to look at the ones accepted above you. Looks like most of them didn't rank Lafayette as their top choice. If you the look with their number you will see most of them don't have a shot at getting into one of their higher ranked schools so don't think it is too likely. Who knows though....

OOB K. Looks like there are 5 slots. 2 are spoken for by OOB siblings. Other 3 are no preference. My thinking is that my chances are slim, but it's still possible.
