Same. Well mine is borderline, but my bigger problem are other rare conditions called syringomyelia and cranio cervical instability that often coexist with chiari. Tingling was my first real head scratcher symptom. Anyway it is probably nothing but worth getting checked by a neurologist. I would avoid activites that strain your spine until then in case there is an injury. First time I've seen another chiari person on the boards! Hi!

I had this (and more). I posted about it over the summer. Saw neurologist -- had some carpal tunnel and Vit D was low but mostly it was from having extremely tight muscles that were irritating my nerves. Did PT, started yoga regularly, do PT exercises each day still, and focus on lowering my shoulders and stretching my neck. Knock on wood, the tingling went away. Good luck OP.

I have it in one hand, which seems to be caused by a nerve that occasionally gets pinched.

i have had episodes of this on and off for a few years. i have had every test under the sun and all was clear. best guess is that it was a b vitamin deficiency ( numbers were relatively normal but they think maybe i need more than the average person). i found the whole thing really scary but ultimately had to relax about it because all the "biggies" were ruled out. I also tried the gluten free route thinking that might be it and it had no effect. good luck!

I have this from anxiety. If I am getting anxious about something, I feel it in my hands and feet.

I have tingling in my hands and feet when my asthma is acting up and I'm not getting enough oxygen.

Have you had our vitamin D levels checked?

Also had this issue when I had Lyme disease.

Yes, it was caused by lack of sleep.

Have you had your circulation checked with a vascular surgeon? I had tingling in one foot due to a blown valve in a vein in my leg (similar to varicose veins) that was attributed to the poor circulation alone.

I would visit a neurologist too. A close friend went this and after many tests, determined that she was spending too much time being sedentary. When she increased her activity level, the tingling went away. Good luck, OP!

The neurologist would be where I would start also and I assume that you've been checked for diabetes and related complications. One thing my PCP did when I was having some tingling in my pinky fingers was put me on a daily regimen of B12 as it helps increase circulation. It's worth a shot.

I have had tingling in my hands and feet for the last 5 months. I am currently seeing a neurologist but all the tests are coming back negative (with a few still left to do). Anyone have a similar experience? I have googled but can't find anything that seems on point based on the testing I have already had.
