Most vets know little about nutrition. Look at the ingredients on the Royal Canin website. Most of their dried cat foods include large amounts of corn and wheat gluten. You're lucky that your cats are healthy on this stuff.

Science Diet is dogshit. Please do not feed that to your cats.

Orajen, Innova EVO, Wellness CORE and Wysong have the best recipes. Organix has the obvious appeal of being organic, which is nice. IMO the ratio of carbs -> protein is a little too heavy on the non-meat.

I also have a cat that won't touch wet food. She likes Wellness and she had grown bored with Science diet. We also give her a fish oil supplement (human ones are ok).

My cat is obsessed with Orijen. I'm trying to feed her mostly wet food, but sometimes she will not eat it unless I put a few kibbles of Orijen on top. She will actually smell her wet food, look at me, and jump on the drawer where she knows the good stuff is. She's so spoiled. :-p

Cats are currently eating hills science senior dry food. Neither seem to like it, and one cat is losing too much weight. Any dry food you can recommend that cats actually seem to like? One cat won't touch canned food, so it needs to be dry. Thanks!
