What do you want out of preschool? Do you care about outplacement to a private K? Making friends within your neighborhood? Our rankings were a bit different than PP; I'd say they were probably: 1) a positive first school experience, 2) learning, 3) private outplacements.

For us, it was 1) general vibe (friendliness, warmth); 2) location; 3) interest/excitement (not rigor!) or curriculum.

Have you visited the programs? Is there one where you can imagine your dc going?

I know this is a good problem to have but we have received three acceptance letters this week for my daughter for the fall. THey all have different pros and cons and we just can't decide. What do you think are the most important factors- location, price, other students/ families (in one school we know several families there but none at the others), teachers, program, other factors?
