We do them at my gym (Sport & Health).

We went to Potomac Swim School too, but now we take swim lessons at the Herndon Community Center. I have been very happy with the classes there, and they are much more reasonably priced.

I heard there was another one near Ashburn Wegmans and also a new one in Herndon/Sterling (kids first). Anyone have any advice?
What about the community centers... I want to sign my 3 year old up for the spring session.

Fairfax Rec. Centers offer great swim lessons, however there are about 6 kids per class, and they last 30 minutes each. So you hope for an instructor who can coordinate having the kids each have significant swimming time versus taking one out at a time to swim. I will say that their lessons fill up usually quickly and the registration for the spring started several weeks ago, so I'm not sure what you'll find available. (Many parents are up at 5:00 a.m. the day registration begins).
