It might cost a bit, but FIOS is rock solid for Internet. It's fast and never goes down. Never had any streaming problems on any device. I have had FIOS without TV, because cable was included in my condo fee from another provider. Now I have the whole new house with FIOS.

Hi,

We're moving back to the US this summer and are considering NOT getting cable or a home phone (previous posting on local news options prompted by thinking on this) - just using our cell phones and getting home internet service with Netflix and maybe Hulu or USTVnow (which we use overseas). Which is the best ISP provider for this in the Mclean/Arlington area without having to bundle cable and phone service? Any other devices needed to have it streamed directly to our televisions? Our WII plays our Netflix, but I'm guessing if we want Hulu or some other TV programs, we might need something else. The only bundle we might consider is cell phone and internet, but I'm not sure that exists - been gone from the US a long time, so not sure what is really out there. We'll be getting new cell phones/service too (and ditching our pay-as-you-go phones used during summer visits). TIA
