If everything else is slightly or dramatically different in two bathrooms (guest & Master), is it acceptable to have the same bathroom ceiling light/fan combination? The vanity lights and all else will be different, but I have only found 1 light/fan combo that I love!

I wouldn't want all my bathrooms to be the same - I like different styles/moods, so I'd probably have a little fun with it. When we redo our 2 ancient baths, the one downstairs will have white fixtures including a pedestal sink, white wall tile, slate gray floor tile and a cheerful color on the walls. The upstairs bath will have a rich espresso vanity and cream fixtures and tiles, but not sure of wall color yet. I like a little variety.

Fans - probably doesn't matter much, though I'd go with white for the rooms with a more feminine feel and something else (stained wood?) for the more masculine rooms. there are some nice options these days.

With the ceiling fans, will the furniture all be the same color? For example we have lighter color wood in the kids room so dark brown blades and the more modern look we have in the master bedroom ceiling fan would look out of place in their room. I like the idea of having a different fan atleast in the master bedroom.

If the bathroom plumbing fixtures are the same like the faucets,sink, and toilet I don't see the big deal. I do like the idea of the countertops, cabinets, tile, and paint being complimentary but different among the bathrooms. For cabinets I would stick with the same manufacturer and style but different colors. Seeing all the same reminds me more of a builder grade, everything the same stock cabinet, tile, and counter.

most of our bathrooms have a different cabinets and tile I don't think thats a big deal and is kind of nice.

As for ceiling fans if you get them all the same that's ok but maybe a special one for the master bedroom. I would find a good brand and stick to them because in general they would look familiar to each other. I recommend minka aire.

I don't think baths should look the same. At least vary the vanity or the countertop, or the shower tile. Baths that all looked the same would be confusing to me... which one am I in right now?

I used same-style ceiling fans, but in slightly different sizes for differently-sized bedrooms. They all look good together, and if you didn't measure, I don't think you'd notice. You might notice more if there was a clearly too large or too small fan in a room.

We'd like to install ceiling fans in 4 of our bedrooms on 2 floors (2 on each floor). Should all the rooms have the same ceiling fan? 2 of the rooms are bigger than the other 2, although not by much. If it makes any difference, we're thinking of 52" and the type with an integrated light.

Also, we have 2 bathrooms right now and are putting in 2 additional bathrooms. (I know that sounds like overkill, but the house is unnecessarily large, and we don't need any more bedrooms.) Basically, each floor will have 2 bathrooms side-by-side, 1 with a bathtub and a single sink and the other with a standing shower and a double sink. Should all the bathrooms be more or less the same in style, e.g., same tiles, same fixtures? That's what the architect recommended, but I don't know if I really want 4 bathrooms that look so similar.
