I was on IVIG over the course of two naturally conceived pregnancies, both of which I still miscarried. We did eventually find success with Neupogen, which I will hopefully be using again for baby #2.

I've posted before but, yes, IVIG worked for me. My NK cells were highly elevated and the IVIG brought them down nicely. I did have to keep taking it throughout my pregnancy. Every 4 weeks or so my NKs would spike again--particulary in the second tri after I weaned off steroids.

With all the discussion recently about a possible connection between maternal immune problems and childhood autism, I'm very, very glad that my doctor prescribed IVIG. DD is now 15 months and we're getting ready to try for #2. I will definitely be taking it again.

Were you able to get your health insurance to cover it?

Anyone had success with IVF using IVIG? I'm going in for my first infusion next week and am pretty nervous and apprehensive about the whole thing. Would love to hear about people's experiences (good and bad). Thanks!
