Beta at 10dp5dt was 28. Seems pretty grim with the spotting but until Saturday need to keep taking the progesterone and keep saying no to both running and wine.

Yes, subchorionic bleed causes spotting-like symptoms. I had subchorionic bleed as the cause of my mc at 9 weeks, I am sorry to say.

Wow, really? I chatted with my nurse after my blood test and she said to just relax until the numbers are in (easier said than done) but nothing about bed rest. Though, this RE is pretty liberal about activity. Was your OB on the conservative side or is that a common recommendation?

Breast tenderness comes and goes. On my successful pregnancy, it went away right away (whereas with failed cycles it stuck around) so don't count yourself out!

Good luck, OP - I would (like PP said) try to take it easy. Remember, your cervix is "open" and you are vulnerable to stresses (if that makes sense?).

My breast tenderness comes and goes as well - Today I don't feel much, but at night it is in full force (sleeping on my stomach is hard). Try not to read to much in to symptoms or lack of, and just be patient with your blood test results. It's SO much easier said than done, but at this point, you have to realize that there is nothing you can do except try to relax (and no sex/high impact work outs). I try to remember that stressing about results doesn't do me or what might be inside me any good. Sometimes it helps.

OP here. I got home from acupuncture feeling pretty okay (no more spotting since the early afternoon) but went to the bathroom and saw more.

We had decided no home tests but after seeing more pink I had an odd freak out and peed in our bathroom cup (husband totally grossed out!) I then asked my husband if I should use a wondfo so we could have a glass of wine. Long story short, I was stunned to see a light pink line. We had dinner and I tried again with another wondfo and a FRER. Got another light pink line and a YES.

So, I haven't given up yet but am quite sure I'm not out of the woods. I also posted a couple days ago about disappearing breast soreness at 6dp5dt and I realize that it's quite possible this is a chemical pregnancy (which explains why my breast symptoms disappeared, the new spotting, and why at this point the wondfo is still pretty light). Guess I'll know more tomorrow.

16:46 again, just to clarify, it takes a good 3 days for AF once I have stopped the Prometrium.

I have never gotten my period while on Prometrium, even when I have thought I was out and delayed things just to be sure. For me it takes a good 3 days for AF to come even if the meds have been holding it back for weeks. Agree that i would test at home. By now you should be able to test any time of day with a good test and get a pretty accurate result. Also, with my first pregnancy, I spotted LOTS in the first month and DC is now 3 and perfect.

I'd POAS if you didn't want to hear the news by phone. You are not out unless your beta is <5, however having experienced exactly what you are describing 5 times I can say my experience was AF knocking on the door.

Prometrium seems to delay AF, but not indefinitely. Good luck.

My beta is tomorrow. It will be 10dp5dt. I am using prometrium 3 times a day and just last night noticed the usually white gunk discharge had a bit of brown. This afternoon again the discharge was uniformly salmon colored. This is too late for any hopes of implantation bleeding so I'm guessing may be the start of my period. But I didn't think it would come with 3x daily supplementation.

I know the right answer is to keep on the meds and go in tomorrow as planned but wonder if I should be prepared for bad news or soon to come flow?
