I thought of that, too, but I know a lot of people really don't like doing the username thing, so in that case, we can also just ask people to identify themselves when they post so we don't have to make it official. Or, maybe all will agree to user names. I could go either way. (OP here). I'm glad there are so many of us with October babies. And lots of first time and second kids.

Congrats to everyone! My period is not even due for another 2 days, so I'm still kind of feeling like it's not official until I'm a few days late, but the line was there again this AM. (I'm a repeat tester!)

I actually found these boards during pregnancy one, when I was spending a lot of time on babycenter. I thought then (and still think) that despite the snark on DCUM, the intellect and wit of the women posting here spoke to me more, plus the local factor is great. So maybe we can do something like that?

Happy and healthy pregnancies to all!

I think that is a great idea!

Huge congrats to you all!

I'm due Oct. 20th with our second. We've told our moms and a few close friends, the people who would most be there for us if something happened. I feel good so far after some weird very early symptoms. Had HG with my first pregnancy, so am trying to enjoy these days before the sickness kicks in.

Here's to happy and healthy pregnancies to all!

I'm pregnant with our first after one round of IVF and due in early October. We're going to wait a while to tell people which is not hard so far because I don't feel pregnant at all (except for being exhausted all the time).

Due early October with baby #4. Not really telling anyone yet. This a little bit of a happy surprise for us. The nausea & fatigue are the worst. I feel incredible unproductive these days. I can't wait to get into the 2nd trimester & get my energy back.

Congrats to you both! I'm due right before Halloween, and I'm also an oldie. It took just about a year for me to get pregnant. We aren't telling anyone either, but I'm really excited!
Hope you both have healthy pregnancies.

Thanks 10:04. I've never been pregnant in my late 20's. That must be dreamy. Also, I don't know what came over me with all of those emoticons in the first text. Might as well put an L on my forehead! Ha ha ha - I'm just excited. Congrats to you, too. I think obviously I must knickname this little one pumpkin.

Congrats! I am due in early October with my first. I am in my late 20s but we also aren't sharing the news widely until later so I agree that it is nice to be able to come on here and talk about it. Good luck with everything and congratulations!

HELLO people! I have been TTC for about 8 months, some months more seriously than others. I'm an oldie at 39, (will be 40 by the time I have baby) but I'm feeling good and in better shape than I've been in in years. But the first pregnancy was easy to conceive and this one was NOT!

I was JUST about to get my levels checked when, whaddya know, took a wondfo on a whim. Voila, a squinter, and darker today but definitely a pink line. I haven't been pregnant for about four years, so I have officially forgotten when things happen. Also, babies look really-really small to me again. I'm still at the "anything an happen" stage (period not even due for a few days), but I'm already feeling nauseated and having the super-smeller thing happening, and my aureolas look like dinner plates. (Still no such thing as TMI on these boards, right?)

Any other Halloween babies out there? These boards were so very helpful to me when pregnant with my first, so I'm glad to be back on them. Also, because of my age, we are telling very few people this time around, so this is my outlet.

I'M PREGNANT! I'M FINALLY PREGNANT!!!!!!!!!!
