After reading those things for years, and from my own experience, here's what I've gleaned about the modern age of marriage:

Doctors usually marry doctors;
Lawyers usually marry lawyers;
Investment bankers marry kindergarten teachers.

As someone who comes from both the Orthodox Jewish world and the Ivy-league word, there is A LOT of unnecessary judgment on both sides. They looks like a lovely couple.
