I listen to mumford and sons on Pandora a lot. I'm just waiting for the emphatic f word to come out of my sweet 3.5 year old's mouth.

Remember the song Jai Ho? Well DS will ask for that song by saying very loudly "HO!....HO!" And not like Santa Claus would say either. I've been emphasizing the JAI part when the song comes on because I'm afraid someone will say something.

But in this case, I'm guessing/hoping the teachers either didn't know it was a song or he was singing it after they asked him to stop.

No rap songs either. He might start singing profanities and calling women B and H words.

My ds got in trouble for singing "Ice Ice Baby" in first grade. Apparently it's "crude"

Me too!
The only context where this would be inappropriate would be if he continued to sing it while the teacher or another student was trying to speak; had been given reminders to stop, but continued anyway.

It's my fault. It's been running through my head the past couple of weeks and "I" sing it around him. Never thought twice about it and now I feel bad.

His teachers are assholes. That was a teaching moment that they just totally botched. Idiots.

My son got on trouble in preschool for singing this.

"Chickety china the chinese chicken. have a drumstick and your brain stops tickin' "

From BNL'S One Week.

Is it offensive?
