OP here, thanks for all the ideas!

I do have some Chicago Fire on my DVR, so maybe I'll start there. Don't know anything about Nashville or Suits, so I'll check them out, too. Heck, we have a lot of space, I'll record a bunch of them and see what sticks with me and the networks. (DH tends to This Old House....)

As for HIMYM, it will be back next fall for its final season. I think Ted meets the mother during May sweeps. If I can get through this crazy girlfriend he has now, I will be happy to finally see the last season!

And to 21:03, Emily Owens was cancelled and has no more episodes. I'm so mad at the way it ended, but it did make it easier to let go. The minute Michael Rady gets a new show, I'm setting the DVR!

I like Elementary on CBS as well as The Good Wife.

Downtown, Walking Dead, and Suits in that order.

Wait, are we finally going to find out how he met their mother?! I might tune in again if this is the last season.

I am also loving Nashville and Downton Abbey. Not a big medical drama fan but did love Private Practice. Try The Mindy Project for a little light humor.

I am enjoying Chicago Fire - first season - hoping it doesn't get cancelled.

Emily Owens is cancelled? I love that show! She is adorable.

I know you aren't a fan of law shuts, but you might like "Suits" on USA. Though you'll want to watch from the very beginning.

Shark Tank is interesting. People go on and pitch products to millionaires/billionaires, and they are able to invest in they want to.

Once Upon A Time is cute.

If you like HIMYM and 30 Rock, you might try New Girl.

We just started watching Pramface and love it so far. Not a medical drama but funny and sweet.

Up All Night has also been pretty clever, but alas, that one is going too.

I don't like a lot of those shows (but love 30 Rock) so take this with a grain of salt, but I'm LOVING Nashville.

I'm rather sad that my old tried and true tv shows are ending. I need a few guilty pleasures on my DVR. Private Practice is done, 30 Rock too. How I Met Your Mother has one more season. Grey's is still around, but for how long? And I fell in love with Emily Owens, MD, but then the CW up and cancelled it.

What else is out there that's worth watching? I'm a sucker for a good medical drama and am giving Monday Morning a try, but I fear that it will go the way of Emily Owens. Not a tremendous legal show fan -- get enough of that during the day. Maybe I'll try Downton Abbey. What else? I can catch up over the summer.

Thanks!
