I'm sure you'll be fine. If you've saved cover letters electronically, that will also help you reconstruct what you sent when. Put together a list of what you applied for when for your own peace of mind. The odds of being audited are very small, and it sounds like you have electronic records of most of the jobs you applied for. The absolute worst case scenario is that you are audited, you can't show that you applied for at least two jobs on a couple of weeks, and you'll have to pay back a couple of weeks of benefits. I know that money's tight so that would hurt, but it's not like they're going to send you to jail. You'll be fine!

Never been audited. Just reconstruct as much as you can from your email and phone records.

I found the auditing to be a joke. The woman implied that as as a put together white lady, she believed me. I doubt they ever really follow up.

Been recording all my job search names and contact numbers for the last 2 months. Unfortunaely, my folder is missing. I forgot it at the library and when i checked they couldnt find it. I am very nervous. What if i get audited? Can someone tell me how the auditing works? Will they call me or have to go to their office with all my documents? Tia!
