bummer. can't do Thur night... last year's was on Fri and my kids had a blast. part of the course was under an elevated metro train track so it was a cool experience.

What state/county are you in?

Most of the runs are in the morning. You'd want to pick something closer to home.

The Kids Marathon at the Shamrock Half down in VA Beach is fun.

Locally, there are lots of races with kids' races attached. As a 6yr old, he probably can manage up to a 1-miler.

I can't recommend this, as we haven't done it but it is part of the Rock and Roll marathon/ half in March. Looks like the kids' mile is on Thursday.

My son just loves to run. I'm not a runner, so I don't know much about organized activities for kids. Are there fun runs coming up that you recommend? TIA
