I think they changed the term from red zone/ green zone to focus / non focus or something like that. But green zone was a MCPS term.

And there aren't many magnet options for Churchill kids. I think it's Blair and RM, both of which are small competitive programs. Op hasn't said what she doesn't like about Churchill so it's hard to know if the problem will be solved at Whitman, RM or Blair.

You can move to the Whitman district. The school is overcrowded so you won't get a COSA. Can't imagine they are that different though.
