Thanks for the St Alban's recommendation. What I mean by not just play is that I'm hoping for semi-directed play with good materials, not just here are toys...play! She's 2 so I'm not looking for crazy structure college prep

Cedar Lane Nursery School. Info will be up soon, I think. Generally 9-1 and themed weeks with projects and exploration, as well as free and water play.

I would think most summer camp programs for 2 year olds would be mostly play. What did you have in mind?

Teddy Bear camp at St Albans. My daughter loved it, but it is mostly play.

My daughter is currently in the toddler program at Aidan but they don't offer any summer programs. She won't be 3 in time to qualify for any of the 3yr old summer programs around town, which disqualifies her for most of the really fun ones). I know that NCRC has a 2+ program, as does CCBCCC (Chevy Chase), but does anyone have any thoughts on other programs out there?
